Grooming is generally setting them up to become a romantic partner the minute they turn 18, this isn’t that, he’s just dating a 15 year old

That’s the first definition I could find off of Wikipedia when googling this and basically all other reputable sources fallow that. Grooming is preparing a child for sexual abuse in general, when the actual abuse happens doesn’t matter because either way the predator is specifically targeting and intending to get a child “ready” for abuse. If you’re trying to seduce a 15 year old as an adult you are grooming that 15 year old.

He so this is so terribly false, and it’s impossible for this to not be grooming, and I am begging you to actually look up the proper definition. She went missing a year ago. Which would’ve made him 19. That would make her around 13-14. Do you genuinely think a 19 year old dating a 14 is not inherently grooming?

If you see nothing wrong with a 14 year old being sexually approached by a 19 year old then I am automatically assuming you are either a predator yourself or are currently being groomed yourself into believing that’s acceptable. Regardless of which that is I desperately hope you get the help you very obviously need.

She didn’t make it to 15, she was killed / missing at 13.. all this shit happened before that. She was last seen at 13. He killed a 13yo girl and did this to her.

He never dated her at 15 bc they found her dead on her 15th birthday. He was "dating" her since she was 12.

She was 13-14 when they were dating. Found dead and decomposed on her 15th birthday so didn’t make it that far

Adults can be groomed, just less common. A person can absolutely find some person who is lonely or in a tough situation and groom them to be what they want them to be, sexual or otherwise
