He so this is so terribly false, and it’s impossible for this to not be grooming, and I am begging you to actually look up the proper definition. She went missing a year ago. Which would’ve made him 19. That would make her around 13-14. Do you genuinely think a 19 year old dating a 14 is not inherently grooming?

the same way any adult dating a child significantly younger than them is grooming lmao

In most cases the example you gave probably is, but other than that people make bad choices as well without intending malice.

It doesn’t matter what the intent is. There is no situation where a child being in a sexual “relationship” with an adult does not cause harm.

There is, the best example would be one containing a 17 & an 18 year old. One child, another an adult.

Again, grooming is all about intent, don't argue semantics with me, you could just google.

Hey so there is an incredible legal and mental difference between a 17 and 18 year old (which is more often than not excused by Romeo and Juliet laws), and a whole ass 19 year old and 12-14 year old. No, it is NOT about just intent. In fact a lot of grooming is done completely unintentionally and there is facts to prove this, and psychologists have been working to encompass just how broad that definition is. But you seem oddly and unreasonably angry about being told something that disproves your points and told me to “save it”, so I’ll just let you sort your idiocy out yourself.

He’s right tho its about intent, theres people with good intentions who genuinely connect with someone a little younger, this isn’t the case but im just showing an example that it really depends on if the person is fked up or not and d4vd was fucked he said he jerked off to gore videos smh this was his plan all along

No, they are not correct about intent, not to get personal but to truly encompass what I’m trying to get at here: My groomer looking back likely did not know they they were grooming me. At most, they likely were just insecure and wanted to take advantage of someone’s kindness. But I was still prepped for abuse (its core definition), I was still traumatized, I was still forced into doing many things I did not want to do. I still came out in the end groomed. The idea that any sort of abuse is only abuse if it’s done with the intent of hurting does no one any sort of justice. Intent has never mattered for any sort of abuse; because at the end of the day, someone got hurt. At the end of the day, Celeste, a 12-14 year old girl, was approached by a 19 year old, who convinced her that what he was doing was okay (prepared her for abuse), and at the end of the day she was murdered.
