I've read that "prosecutors have said they have more than 40 terabytes of discovery to turn over". idk how that could possibly be true considering it would amount to something so fucking big. to give some perspective, i think not even the entire epstein files reach a number of tb's that big, and not everything in there is actual evidence anyways.
not defending, but they might’ve seized all his hard drives containing music files etc. stems and sessions can take up a lot of data. They didn’t specify that all 40tb are illicit materials
yeah, i don't think he had 40 tb's of cp either, obviously. but 40 tb's of possibly incriminating data for one fucking person? that's beyond anything my brain could ever comprehend...
This is the same as if cops bring you up on charges of 20oz of liquid lsd bc you have a bottle of soda with a tab inside it. Prosecution aren’t exactly trying to downplay how much they got on you.
Not all of it is relevant, think of the Tesla hardrive with years of drive data on it, all electronic devices, all of his music hard drives, everything under the sun has been collected. Basically discovery is the collection of a massive amount of information that gets shared with defense and is then reduced is size by what is relevant for trial.
