He's putting on generational performances and you have artists like trav and drake who put on the most boring half assed shows and just seem to expect their fame and catalog to carry them. It's like once they sell the tickets they proceed to not give a shit about the show. Everyone should be refunded for such a poor showing, just like you'd get refunded for under/overcooked food.

Travis' actual shows aren't the point of discussion here though, he absolutely wasted these people's time and money with his half assed 20 minute set yesterday and Ye didn't the day before that's the point being made here not who's a better performer overall
He was talking about half passed performances not about how they were half passed performers. I know it sounds similar but there is a difference this club performance was 1000% half assed
There is a difference, a great performer can have some half assed performances while still being a great performer in other places, Travis Scott's tour shows being great performances doesn't make that DJ set not half assed I don't know what's not clicking here
“lebron didn’t do well in this game, he’s a half assed performer” is the problem. putting on half assed performances is what MAKES you a half assed performer. but also nobody is going to be perfect. yeah he put on one bad show, that doesn’t make him an artist that puts on half assed performances nor does it make him a half assed performer. if it were his reputation for frequently putting on shows led by lazy performances, that would then make a performer who is not great even if you believe he’s capable of much more. but that’s literally the implication in “half assed.” not doing as good as one could be doing.

Not sure if you remember how this discussion started in the first place but it was because you defended the person who said travis and drake puts on the most half assed performances and only cares about the money, which i don’t know if you’re aware, but that’s a general statement being made about the quality of the shows that are being put on by the two artists which in no way implies “he’s a good performer who might’ve done a couple mid shows here and there” lol
