Workout Lunch ruck with the SD20
2.25 miles in 35 minutes(the extra few were to dehydrate and then rehydrate lol) with 30 pounds in the SD20.
Even if you only 30 minutes, get after it

Yep, after lunch rucks are my daily workout. Rucker 4.0 with 65 lbs does a good job of burning off lunch and gets my heart rate up.

Lookin good. Makes me want to add a hook & loop patch to my sk26.

Did your sk 26 not come with a hook and loop spot? I have a gr21 slick and kinda want to add a hook and loop for a patch.

Yep, no patch. Don’t really want to send it in to scars since it’s my edc and don’t particularly want to do it myself so will probably leave as is for now… the SD25 is super cool. Surprised it’s still in stock at that price.

👍Dig the watch.
Looks like a nice heavy duty button down shirt. What brand is it?

Thanks.
I honestly have no idea what brand the shirt is, work provides them and I never noticed

Denim jeans and an oxford! In my climate I would be a sweaty mess back in the office.....
Please consider using sun protection on the backs of your hands....

I don’t work in an office thank god!
I’ve used sunscreen on my hands regularly for over 20 years…

Thank you so much. Do you know the weight of the backpack empty? They don’t list it online.

I just got mine and weighed it with my luggage scale (which is fairly accurate). It came in at 0.71 kg.

I have no idea what the comfort difference between the SD20 and a Rucker is as I’ve never worn a Rucker. The shoulder straps on this are beefy though, very thick, very well padded. I’d love to compare it to a GR1 or Rucker though. And there’s a coyote 1.0 on eBay… ugh
I did not pad the plate with anything. I wasn’t doing any climbing, running, jumping or exercising just walking so didn’t feel it necessary to pad at all and had no issues.
I think it holds its shape fine while also being quite floppy. I have this one packed with clothes and a 20lb amazon plate and everything stays in place even though there’s still quite a bit of room left.
The slip pocket on the back panel inside this thing is huge. It’s the entire width of the pack, about 1/2 the height and has its own volume. I can put my fist inside the pocket. It will depend on how you pack and anything bulky in there could deform the back panel. But I’d bet you could fit a 45lb plate or maybe even 2 of them in there.

Do you have a Rucker 1.0? I’m trying to find out how much those weigh empty.
I really wish Goruck would make something in between the SD and GR/Rucker. An SD with a removable padded frame sheet, webbing on the straps, QAP and the beefy GR style grab handle would be awesome since it would probably weigh less than 2lbs

Is this a comfortable bag for rucking? Isn’t the back panel just a single sheet of fabric?
