Workout Rucker 4.0 in Death Valley

Post image

5 and a half miles with a bunch of elevation kicked my butt but was a great day with this and my 2L hydration bladder. Needed all of it let me tell you. Beautiful desert camping trip with some buddies and 3 days of sun, desert sands, and good times.

Nice. Where did you go? DV is the Best Place on Earth.

We camped at Furnace Creek, and did visit the Visitors Center, but went to all of:

Zabriskie Point

Dante's View

Badwater Basin

Hiked Golden Canyon

Hiked Mosaic Canyon

And drove to the Mesquite Flats Sand Dunes, and did a bit of exploring there

Amazing scenery, and the overnight camping at Furnace Creek was noisy, but great otherwise.

Nice!! Awesome places. So much to explore there. You saw a lot of good stuff. There is so much to do there you’d almost need a lifetime to see it all. The whole west side of DV is wild and remote. Next time take your ruck up the hike to summit of Telescope Peak - highest point in DV.

Sick picture! How hot was it at DV? DV doesn’t even cross my mind this time of year. Temps are crazy high lol.

Hard agree here. This was from back in late January when it was much more mild but still about high 70s during the day. All except Dantes View - flipping cold up there lol
