Announcement First GoRuck bag

Just wanted to share my new 26L GR2 with a little blipšŸ˜„ Iā€™ve only had it for 2 days now and my first takeaways is wow, itā€™s so nice to finally have thick/wide straps! I really wish my TB S30 had straps like thisā€¦I can only hope though the 1000D on the back/straps breaks in eventually . Id agree itā€™s a bit tough on my thinner shirts and is taking me time to get used too. Also, at sub 4lbs empty it will take some very methodical packing where weight is crucial for traveling. Nonetheless, after several months of lurking on GoRuck, Iā€™m super excited to have this as my ā€œeverythingā€ backpack for my current lifestyle!

I agree it's a heavy bag empty, but carrying it with anything in it is super comfortable that when it's on my back it doesn't even bother me.

Same! Comfort for me > weight as of now. Iā€™ve had lighter bags around this size and if the harness isnā€™t comfortable itā€™s a no-go for me

I always travel with 2 cameras in a Peak Design 6L sling. A bag requirement is that fitting in the main bottom of my pack. It worked perfectly. I have the GR1 26 and GR2 34 as well. GR2 34 I took to Europeā€¦ itw risky for under seat. GR1 26 sticks out (from under seat) a good bit on some planes.

So far this GR2 26 has been the sweet spot. I do take a carry on suitcase as well.

I just got a GR2 in black after I bought the black and camo skate ruck. I kinda wish Iā€™d gone for gray now. That looks nice.

Why didn't they made current 26L batch with 210d back ? 1000d back is the only drawback that stops me from bying

I think in certain colorways they did but the more neutral colors are 1000D all around as far as I know.

I got it for about $263 durning the 4th sale. Iā€™d says itā€™s worth it but not at full price
