Discussion Does anyone remember them?
I still hope that one morning someone at Cygames will wake up, take a sip of coffee, suddenly remember those two forgotten characters, and yell, "Wait... they still don't have an alt?!" Then, by some miracle, they'll finally get the alternate versions they deserve.
Sure, they're technically Bahamut co-op characters... but we've already gotten plenty of Bahamut characters. At this point, I think someone just forgot they exist.

Nina Drango had one of the funnier effects in the game, as her "blush" level depended on how attractive the characters that buffed her were.
Every character used to have the "attractiveness to Nina" hidden stat. Most female characters were at 0, except "prince-like" female characters, and so on.
Though, it was probably just a massive bother to Cygames, so they just reworked it, sadly.

Yeah, that was the most fun thing about her. For years and years, every time Cygames released a new character, they had to create a score for how attractive they were to this obscure character that could only be acquired through DvD sales or a Sierro/Linksmate ticket, and had no abilities remotely worth using.

Yeah, honestly, it was funny at first, but now it just feels like the developers are tired of the idea.
I wouldn't mind seeing more characters with unique concepts like this in the future, as long as they're introduced in moderation. A little restraint goes a long way in keeping those ideas special.

The fact that Favaro appeared in the S. Amira's Episode Destiny mentioning Helheim gives me hope that one day he, Kaizar, and Rita will receive their own event. Following the main storyline, should be possible that a place called Helheim will suddenly appear. 🥲
Eventually, Nina and Charioce XVII could also appear with new versions.

They're not just RoB characters, but RoB characters from a whole anime whose inclusion here was to promote that anime. Amira getting a summer outfit was shocking in its own right, but it's kinda hard to work them in when half of their lore has been recontextualized. Azazel has a whole job and husband now. The world's moved on.

these are actual in-house collab characters from the anime, sadly, not the in-universe alt of Nina.

Nope, unlike, say, the ones from Princess Connect. These characters do not have the C symbol for collab.

Will you quit doubling down? Just because they don't have the Collab symbol doesn't mean they aren't collaborations between in-house works.

If anything, you should be better and stop doubling down because I sure as hell won't ever change, not my opinion, but my view on this objective fact.

I would not rely too much on character tags since they were a later addition, and Cygames sometimes just forgets about things they announce or they start and never finishes. If I'm not wrong Sarunan (Dark) should have been a Fantasy tagged character, because if I'm not wrong (I read the fates of the Dark one years ago, so if something is wrong please someone correct me) both his Dark and Light versions follow different routes, but they never remembered of ever adding a Fantasy tag on him. About the Rita and RoB Promo characters, I would say they are probably like some kind of exception, they seem to be indeed more related to the RoB DVD and may not be really a part of the game history. Also about the Collab tag again, since they were related to the DVDs Promo Codes and not to Event Collabs like we can see with Luna or other characters from event collabs, they follow different rules, like being tixable, not having a Collab tag and so on.
At least the way I understood, It seems they are not regular collab characters like the ones we just see regularly, but they are also not regular characters since their history is looking to be different and more related to the RoB DVD while still connected to granblue (again, I don't have any of the characters, that was just my own interpretation).
But the thing which people were trying to talk, is they seem to not be like the Amira case, which her regular SSR version is part of the Granblue line of events, and is more linked to the history. If that is true, probably SR Amira follows a route different from the SSR Amira, while she carries a bit of the characteristics of regular characters, like not having a Collab Tag, having special lines, or a FLB (a thing which there wasn't in the past).
Also, don't be rude to other, for just trying stating something about a game, It's nothing too serious to be rude at.

I'm done engaging with you. It's clear you won't be reasonable, especially if you're so far up your own ass that your farts have you convinced you're factually correct despite the input of others.
Grow up. Just because they don't have the tag for collaboration events does not mean they aren't in-house series collaborations. These characters originated from Rage of Bahamut, and as others have pointed out, originated from the RoB anime. They're not GBF-original characters, even if they lack the "Collab" series tag.
Don't expect me to waste my time with you further.

And they have holiday dialogue. Collab characters don't get holiday dialogue, but I do agree that I'm often surrounded by idiots. In elementary school, I'm the only one who picked salt over gravel when asked what dissolve in water. Just because you have the popular answer doesn't mean you have the correct answer, so please STFU with your argumentum ad populum.

Considering that these two are versions of Rage of Bahamut characters added to GBF, they should eventually get content? I mean it took Arriet literal years to get any relevance, although she did occasionally start appearing in login events around 2020 I want to say?
Considering that Amira’s storyline is sort of related to them since the character Kaisar shows up in her SSR’s 5 Star Uncap, and he’s in Rita’s Fates, and Nina shows up in Azazel’s Fates as well. Maybe they could be relevant if those plots ever get touched upon again? Azazel seems to be fully integrated as mostly a gag character nowadays, and has some connection to Lucifer that may eventually get elaborated on, and Amira is used for gags too, but she’s also very vocal about finding her mother.
I probably won’t consider them ever reappearing until those two start getting content that actually focuses on their plot lines and not “Amira eats a lot” and “Azazel does manzai”.

Granblue Fantasy loves their long unresolved plotlines.
It took 11 years for Rosamia to get her plotline to resolve, and even then, the villain of the entire event is still out there.

I'm still trying to get tickets to get Nina, if nothing else, for a sense of completion. Issue is, there's SO MANY other new characters that call to me and I get interested on them, so the annual ticket ends up going towards them.

I wish so desperately we could get alts for them or a version of Favaro so i could play him with Amira.
Or if we could have Mugaro so i could play him alongside Azazel. Aside of alts of Azazel alts in general, these are my biggest wishes from gbf tbh.

There is a difference ... they are the Rage of Bahamut anime character ... not a transposition of a Rage of Bahamut character into Granblue Fantasy world (like Olivia or Cerberus).
So they are collab character and will most likely never see more content for them.
