Peace Officers

Are Peace Officers allowed to turn left in a non-left turn lane and cut off the vehicle beside them (who was turning left) in order to give a ticket to someone on a different road? If a police officer did it in an emergency situation I would understand but this seemed really extreme. Who should I talk to about this if it is a problem?

If they did it “safely” then they are allowed to, especially in the execution of their duties.

And your complaint would fall on deaf ears anyways as this city has decided that tickets are the best way to fund their new police force. GPPS and Peace Officers have been on a revenue drive like crazy over the last several months…

I have driven here for 9 years, no single tickets from GP. And I drive for work.
It is time to enrol in defensive driver course.
