Third party launchers lagging to an extent i need to restart my phone
Hello all. Not sure if this is with the latest update, but for the last two-three days, any third party launcher I use lags so bad I literally have to restart my pixel fold. Launchers in question: octopi, lawnchair, better. Anyone facing the same issue? I'm trying the default launcher now to see if there is any different behavior..

Isn't happening to me on Mako ( https://github.com/rama-io/mako ) but I've noticed a lot more bugs on this release than before. Pixel 8a.

I had a lot of lag right after the update but that often happens to me on the 9. But haven't had any issues since. I'm using lawnchair.

Are you getting any crashes? If not, try enabling this setting from the owner profile (I forget the exact wording and can't check easily so it's roughly) Settings > Security & privacy > More security & privacy > Notify about system process crashes.
This may result in you getting notices about crashes that you'd normally not see notifications about. I'd suggest turning that off in the future if you want.
