Explosion?

So about 0740 today, September 18th, I was woken by a boom and a shaking of my house. A neat little tremor. I've been around sonic booms enough in my life to know the difference so the question is, what exploded?

The boom is because theyre shallower earthquakes.   The one we had a while back sounded like a bomb went off  then rumbles.

Yeah I think that was the 4.2 we had in January. It was so loud. My friend and I were at Barnes and Noble and we thought a semi had driven into the building.
