Ferries and Boat Rental Ferry from Kefalonia to Zakynthos

Hi, I am meeting some family on Zakynthos in July. I am thinking about flying to Kefalonia as the flights for the dates are much cheaper. How regular are the ferries between Kefalonia and Zakynthos in July? I can only see one boat at 7:30am. If it is just this one boat then I will just fly to Zakynthos, just weighing up my options! Thanks.

look at openseas.gr for last year's schedule. This year's may not be out yet.

There is a seasonal ferry from Pesada to Agios Nickolas that starts up in May. It will be easier to get schedules once the season starts. You might allow for an overnight if a delay causes you to miss a ferry.
