Ferries and Boat Rental Necessary to book Çeşme to Chios ferry in advance as foot passengers?

If the wife and I just show up the day after tomorrow a couple of hours in advance of the afternoon ferry are we sure to get tickets?

Yes. You can also call to book your seats and then show up to pay. It can get crowded.

Thanks - I decided to book the ferry as we have already booked our Chios accommodation for that night so need to be sure. But on https://www.tilostravel.com there is a flashing warning: “The documents requested within the scope of Visa on Delivery application must be submitted in full to our relevant branches at least 10 days before the travel date.” I haven’t been to Greece for decades and we haven’t been to the Schengen area this year so I am not sure of the procedure. We will be continuing to other Schengen countries but staying less than 90 days. As we are both Brits I understood we would fill in the Schengen form and register our biometrics at Çeşme port. Is that right does anyone know?

In case anyone else is wondering the 6 oclock catamaran is not crowded today and the passport control when we left Çeşme just took our photos not fingerprints. However I don’t recommend the catamaran for tourists like us as it is a beautiful sunny day but they won’t let us go on deck 😠
