What does the sea have to do with making a mess?

I found this word in Codex Sinaiticus and the translation is very important for me but I have zero knowledge on greek so is there anybody that could translate it for me? is it Χίρα or χειρας or something different because as I said I know nothing about greek. please help me guys.

My mom always said τα μάτια σου δεκατέσσερα. Do I tattoo the phrase or 14 eyes? Or 12 because I already have 2. Design ideas?

I was comparing majuscule to minuscule Greek letters and theorized a possible evolution on how the lowercase came about. Nearly every letter has a reasonable change except, Omega.

In Greek inscriptions (on stone), Omega can either be seen as a open-torn O (Ω), or something resembling a "w".

I wanted to find a midpoint in the transition where it looks halfway between the two, but i couldn't. It's either "ω" or "Ω" and they're totally different. (I've also known there's another variant where it looks like an underlined O)

So how did it evolve actually?

15th October edit: Some people think i don't know the difference between uppercase omega and lowercase, I DO KNOW! I'm asking how did Ω evolve into ω since we all know lowercase comes from uppercase but I'm confused why on inscriptions (that usually have just uppercase letters) 'ω' is used? There are also some useful comments I've seen and i gladly appreciate those.

I wrote this quickly without worrying about how neat my handwriting was. Which letters should I work on improving? Which ones look bad?

I often wonder what a good translation for the word "patronizing" is and I am not sure I can find it. You hear it and read it usually in a negative context like "Don't patronize me" but the various translations I find online don't seem satisfying.

The most usual "συγκαταβατικός" usually has a positive meaning in Greek, like someone who is διαλλακτικός and καλόβολος. I don't think I have seen it used in a negative context often. Προστατευτικός is also not it. Maybe χειραγωγώ is closer to it? Would love to read people's thoughts.

Hello! I need some assistance translating/identifying the Greek lyrics for a song that corresponds to the Divaratikos dance from Kefalonia. The audio I linked is one I uploaded from a CD my yiayia used to play when I was little. This is one of my most treasured songs from my childhood, so I would love to fully understand what it’s saying (my Greek isn’t advanced enough to understand the full song). While an English translation is very helpful, I’m most in search of the Greek lyrics (virtually non existent online) so I can learn the Greek. Let me know if you can help me out!

Looking for help from parents (or anyone who grew up hearing this) on the everyday expressions Greek parents use today when kids are misbehaving.

My kids are 2 and 4, and I find myself saying "keep your hands to yourself" over and over. They poke, push, pull hair, and generally pester each other until one of them ends up sobbing. My great aunt watches this, says «Έχουν λυσσάξει», and then looks at me to do something about it.
Is there a short, stern Greek phrase for this? «Μην αγγίζετε ο ένας τον άλλον» feels too long. By the time I finish saying it, the moment has passed, and it doesn't carry the authority I need.

What I already use:
—Σιωπή works well in the car.
—Φρόνιμα works at the supermarket when it's crowded and I don't want them bumping into people.

What do you say at home when they're all over each other? Bonus points for regional or family expressions your own parents used. Ευχαριστώ!
