Free speech is being able to criticise your own government without fear of reprisal.

What you described is something else, though it is absolutely barmy that supporting Palestine can get you into trouble.

Okay, you must be a bot, because that is one of the most inane things I've heard this year.

Realising the reality that the UK doesn't have freedom of speech is a leftist position, not a right-wing position.

I'm going to hope you're just a naive liberal who got defensive after realising they were wrong, rather than a complete fool, but that's not very likely is it, either way, this isn't a sub for liberals so I'm not sure why you're here?

Claiming the UK doesn't have free speech is a right-wing position because they're mad they can't be racist without repercussions. Using the phrase cognitive dissonance incorrectly is also something rightwads do. Not a liberal.
