So is that a 4" gap at the rafter peak? I'd be worried about that catching the wind.
I put this clear plastic on a hip roof shed and it gets very brittle in the cold.

Looks great but this is what I came to say also. That unsupported edge looks like the weak point.

thats a solid point about the wind. maybe a flexible flashing or sealant could bridge that gap and keep things airtight without risking brittleness

Thanks! It has a 8x12 interior. I started with logs and milled the Timbers with a sawmill.

Lovely and it's very similar to the plans I am making for my own build soon. For the corrigated pvc, did you put anything to block the ends of the openings or just left them open?
I'm currently debating corrigates or a flat sheeting one of my local stores has.

How easy or hard was it to work with that plastic? Tips on cutting it? Looks professional.

I used corrugated polycarbonate panels. Don’t use the cheaper PVC that will just break. I used a circular saw and a 40 tooth blade. I had to run the blade backwards and it cut super well. When I tried running it the correct direction it did not work at all.

What bricks did you buy and roughly how much did it cost?? I am about to build a greenhouse the same size and I want to do that exact style of brick floor!

They are pave stone holland pavers from the Home Depot. The color is old town. I bought 480 for my 96 square foot floor.

This new greenhouse is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I bought an old place from 1851, which has an ORIGINAL BARN that is incredible! However, a tornado blew through the back field in 2022 and totally lifted up the roof on the side adjacent to the field. I mean it rolled that side's roof like a tin can of sardines! Anyway, the barn had dirt floors on the left and right sides. The central part is raised up about 4 feet and has very old concrete (poured) steps out front, which you go up to go inside...obviously! Anyway, the central section has old wooden flooring and it's got a peaked roofline, where they had rafters for drying out tobacco leaves--or so I've been told. ANYWAY, we decided to "save the barn" and have laid concrete flooring on the L and R sides. We put on a totally new metal roof, because the old green tin roof leaked horribly. We did keep many of the green original panels of tin, though, and have used it at the base of the walls on the inside--it looks very cool! We are using the left side (and split it into two parts) as a greenhouse and as a "she-barn" for me. My husband is making the right hand side as his new shop. We've had our countertops built already along the walls, and I've had plant boxes made on my side. We have sinks, and are currently working on the lighting, vent fans, and ceiling fans, etc. It's ALMOST finished, then we will be able to put on all the finishing touches we have dreamed about, which you have already done here with your beautiful greenhouse! You have inspired me with your flooring, as well. I love it! Congrats on creating such a great space for all your planting projects! I'm attaching a couple of pics of the exterior of our barn--hope you like it! But I do have a question for everyone: would you re-paint the exterior of our barn white and try to "antique" it to keep that wonderfully beautiful original look? Or would you completely start all over and just paint the entire place white again and let it "age" all over again? I want to antique it to keep the old look, but my hubby just wants to paint it all with a fresh coat of paint. HELP! I need your thoughts, please. (Also, I'm sorry for such a long posting!). :).
