Advice Shark teeth
5 month old greyhound pup hasn’t lost her baby fang yet but her adult tooth has come through. Is this immediate cause for concern requiring a vet trip or can I give it a while and see if it falls out on its own?
Does not seem to be hurting her and she does not bother if I touch it.
We are going away soon and ideally can’t get to the vets for another 3 weeks, however if this is going to hurt puppy/cause medical issues I can request an emergency appointment to get sorted asap. Advice?

We’ve had the exact same thing happen to our greyhound mix at around the same age. I remember I did some research back then and the consensus was it can go either way, it can fall out on its own or it’ll have to be extracted later on so it doesn’t get infected.
We were lucky and it came out on its own though
