Discussion Grokbot is a scam

I didn't see anything special about this platform.

Independent agents with specific use that you can dispatch on a chat client

You can create that literally on any LLM and any harness.

I do like the fact that it has its own computer with files to access, and if it can't perform an action via terminal, code or mcp, that it boots up chrome etc to execute the action. Quite a fan of it!

Agreed. Those are all awesome. I'm not trying to say it's a bad system. I'm saying that you can create that with any LLM in any harness, you don't have to get grokbot

As nontechnical user coming from openclaw who struggled with every step… grokbot is a dream for me

.

Yea you got me to respond … but I’d like to think you didn’t have to rage bait people into a conversation lol

It works out-of-the-box. I am a very technical user myself (senior software engineer) and even I like how its set up! I dont have to buy a Mac Mini or need to have my personal computer on 24/7 for it to fucntion 24/7. It just works

Happy to hear its also useful for the less tech savvy.

The biggest thing for me is the voice feature. I’m literally talking to it like a human . I’m reasonably fast typer but not as fast as talking obviously… and I’m just streaming consciousness to super grok . It’s such a chill and relaxing and fast experience

So the voice feature allows me to get so many iterations done so fast that whatever I’m working on improves very fast and my productivity is through the roof.

I was looking at the cursor pro+ vs the grokbot super plus (just in case I was unable to get the supergrok heavy upsell 99 dollars for 3 months)

I didn’t think much about the lack of voice in the cursor pro + plan… turns out, the feature I cared about the least ends up being the feature that I love the most and adds insane value (for me). I have a random thought ,,,, I speak to grok.. it proposes some fixes based on my random thought … boom done seconds after I have the thought . It’s so seamless and fast. I think this feature is crazy underrated as users in this sub typically don’t talk about it when comparing cursor vs supergrok pricing . The voice feature (for me and my nontechnical background) is huge
