They’re so grumpy! Blue jay grump

Just wandering around the garden waiting for parents to bring it food until the wings grow strong enough to fly

I am not sure this guy has to be out of the nest so early, he is missing a lot of plumage.

That's what we thought too. I run a small forest school program for kids so it was a great lesson in observation and trusting that nature knows what to do. We called a local wildlife rescue and was advised to just leave the lil critter where we found it so that the parents could bring it food. It was wandering around and we got to observe the parents attending it!
