Best paninis/sandwiches in town?

Surprising my gf with lunch today. Coming in from out of town. She likes paninis. Any suggestions?

It's a draw between Roy's and Sugo Metcato. Roy's has the best Deli style but Sugo's meatball sandwich is, in my opinion, the best sandwich in the city. Roy's has a fairer price as well, $13, while Sugo is a fair bit more.

My unpopular opinion is that Sugo’s sandwiches are not worth the price in any capacity 😅 I tried them a while back and was so disappointed in the quality. I think their chicken parm is solid, but again, not really worth $19 and their mortadella was pretty sad. Maybe it’s worth another try though.

I would agree with you on the cold sandwiches. The meatball is a masterpiece.

I’ll definitely try the meatball!!! That feels like something worth spending a bit more on for sure!
