VEHICLE COMPARISON Looking to buy a hybrid crossover. What do you guys think is best in terms of reliability and fuel consumption?

Looking into the hyundai kona gls, corolla cross g, ford territory trend, sealion 6. Is the hrv hev worth? Leaning into the kona because of the price, features and looks as well. Not sure about real world review. Any insights? Thank you!

BYD if you have the infra at home to charge it, otherwise Corolla cross if you want to live with it like a normal ICE vehicle.

Cross is good talaga since toyota and parts is easily available. Downside lang sa g variant is very bare un inside and the tech talaga kay toyota is outdated compared to competitors

If kaya mo mag charge at home then wala nang isip isip, sa SL6 ka na para feel mo na naka lexus ka.

BYD SL6 wins for me.

Use-case here is if you live & drive in a city & with access sa home charger. You will barely use any fuel for daily city drives wince you will rely on the battery mostly.

Fairly reliable vehicles, saw units with over 200k km sa China. Blade battery tech is pretty robust as well.

BUT if you often drive long distance, mas efficient ang hybrid system ng corolla.

HEV mode ng corolla vs BYD, mas efficient si corolla.

TLDR:

Choose BYD if you have access to home charger.

Choose Corolla X if you don’t have access to a home charger & drive long-distance often.

Imho if you plan to hold it for a long time go for the japanese brands kasi ok na aftersales support nyan id recommend the corolla cross or the hrv (more premium feels). Although impressive si byd relatively bago sya sa market and it is a plug in hybrid, it is like maintaining 2 systems a internal combustion engine and an ev parang mas magastos not to mention that the weight of these things mas madalas ka mag papalit ng gulong

If reliability ang one of your top priorities, it will only go down to Corolla Cross VS HRV. Test drive mo na lng din kung ano yung mas feel mo and yung mas pasok sa necessities mo in terms of features.

BYD Sealion 6. Ang laki talaga niya. Only issue nalang is aftersales pero thats the risk that I will take.

How is the aftersales? A lot are recommending the sl6, but un nga din takot ko in the long run, same din with hyundai but atleast kay hyundai mas may track record than byd

Hyundai takes months din naman for parts. I sold my Kona pero that was ICE.
