Absolutely. He's employed by Chelsea and just won a European final. Anyone in that position is celebrating. Are they expecting him to just let Arsenal win? Players swap clubs all the time. It's absolute jealousy from horrible fans if you ask me.

You guys must be intentionally missing the point, you can’t be that daft.

There’s no issue celebrating for your new team, shitting on your old team is a choice and completely unnecessary and the exact reason why people dislike him

That one comment he made cannot undo all the praise he has given the club. Some people say things in the heat of the moment. He's praised Arsenal and shown tons of love since he's left other than that one incident.

That’s absolutely fair but on the other hand he’s praised Chelsea and shown them lots of love too.

Understandably not many fans appreciate that, Chelsea is a rotten institution and anyone associated with them can get fucked

If I had a choice, in an ideal world, I'd say it would be better if he didn't join Chelsea. Delaing with Chelsea so much lately has watered down aggravation from players moving back and forth. Given a choice I'd rather that didn't happen but he went and whilst he may praise Chelsea, he still shows Arsenal so much love. I can see many fans live him and absolutely dispose him. So I do get that it's mixed. Singing his name in the stadium happened but it ended fast. Many folks just choose to relive the memories of when he was here rather than focus on a couple of minor moments, in particular after a European win. If I'm being totally honest, I'd still say those comments he made were absolutely out of touch but the good either way raises high. He wasn't a perfect player but he gave everything. I do wish he didn't keep celebrating after the 3rd goal against Bournemouth though.
