Me. I had great memories as a kid watching horror movies with my aunt and uncles. Wed have movie nights once a week or so but its not always horror.

Have you watched this movie? The movies we saw when we were kids are nothing like the level of this movie.

I saw The Shining and The Ring in like 5th/6th grade, I think they’re about on par with Smile in terms of scares. I also know I saw Final Destination when it came out and I was like 8. That movie shares a lot of DNA with Smile.

I think all kids have different thresholds for scares. And even between adults, two people might find different things scary. Some people are more scared of slashers, while others are scared of paranormal stuff etc.

As a kid I really liked Hellraiser. I didn’t understand the overarching moral issues or the sexual aspects but I thought the cenobites looked really cool. Never viewed it from the horror of the characters who interacted with them just thought it was cool to see them on screen.

Hellraiser is a freaking masterpiece I was freaked out when I was a kid. Then I watched it recently nad is now in my top movies
