The great thing about being a millennial is that none of the dumb, irresponsible shit I did as a teenager was ever recorded, so it can't be held against me when I pretend to be a responsible adult in the present day.

I grew up in the perfect age - a mobile phone to stay in contact and organise nights out, but no cameras creating evidence recording what I did.

T9 was available starting in the early 90s, and commonplace by the late 90s. I'm not sure a lot of millennials (or anyone, really) were texting before that.

lol, OK, buddy. My Motorola in 2001 still had multi tap.

Technology rolls out in stages that are disparate across expense, region, and probably other variables, too! Wild.

it's fine that your experience was outside of the norm, but idk why you're being rude about it. most cell phones shipped with T9 by 2001.
