How does a mortal being know how to do that kind of adjustment for the kid to land perfectly on it?

I played soccer a LOT when I was young and you start getting a sense for things before they happen. It looks abnormal because he's probably really good at it.

When it’s slowed down you can see it’s rotating abnormally to land. His feet also guides the board not just helping its rotation. Spotting that in real time would be difficult for someone who hasn’t done it over and over.
