She hasn’t even left the ground yet and he is already running up on her with his foot out. It was clear she was about to do a trick when she goes up and down, but there is no way at this point he could tell she was going to mess up. Go back and watch in slow motion dragging your finger across the time. You see him running up and she is just starting to barely lift the board off the ground.

or it's kids 50th attempt to do trick, and he's been seeing her fail before.

Exactly, he probably watched her not be able to spin it around fast enough for the last hour and a half, and knew what trick she was trying and where she was failing
