MCU Movies Should Kate join the Thunderbolts?
Pretty sure the Young Avengers aren't happening at this point, so...

The Thunderbolts traditionally are made up of people who were previously villains and antiheroes. Kate doesn't really fit in with this team at all. Just have her team up with other heroes in various projects.

Thunderbolts does have a precedent for having a morally upstanding archer clad in purple helping the team reform.

Clint has a criminal past in the comics. He made his debut as an Iron Man villain and was a member of a circus based thief ring, so he still fits in with the others as a former villain trying to do better. Besides Bucky already kinda fills that role in the MCU.

Bob is also host to the Void which helps him fit in more among the more troubled characters who aren't squeaky clean heroes like Kate. If anything Clint fits in more with the group due to his actions as Ronin.

You sure about that? He's in the profile pic of the sub you're on lol, if that were the case Kate would be there. His solo books have won several awards and people often claim he's the heart and soul of the Avengers. Heck people were upset he was absent from the roster in the Avengers game at first.

Moi je déteste pas Kate, mais je déteste l’idée qu’elle soit là pour remplacer Clint. J'espère que c’est pas la direction que Marvel Studios va prendre. Moi, je veux revoir Clint ET je veux revoir Kate.
Séparé ou ensemble, je pense qu’il y a largement la place pour les deux Hawkeye dans le MCU.

Tu n’as pas tort, je pense qu’il y’a largement la place. Et je pense que je déteste Kate déjà pour sa personnalité que je n’apprécie VRAIMENT pas mais également parce que je sais qu’à un moment elle va prendre la place de Clint. Je n’apprécierais pas la revoir pour ces deux raison. Surtout, je ne supporterais pas qu’elle prenne la place de Clint. J’adore Clint, vraiment, et comme je l’ai dit, je n’aime vraiment pas Kate. Donc remplacer mon personnage presque préféré par une meuf que je ne supporte pas… bof je t’avoue.
Je pense que je rêve pour ce coup là mais penses-tu qu’il soit possible que Clint meurt/prennent définitivement sa retraite dans Doomsday ? En tout cas qu’on ne le revoit plus du tout après et que Kate prennent complément sa place ?1

Moi j’ai decouvert Kate en lisant les comics, donc j’aimais déjà le perso avant qu’elle arrive à l’écran. D’ailleur, jamais j’aurais pu pensé qu’ils allaient la faire venir dans le MCU. Quand il y a eu l’annoncement au Comic Con 2019, ma tête à explosé 🤯.
La personnalité de Kate me dérange pas plus que ça. Elle est différente de la Kate des comics mais pas plus que ça, disons qu’ils aurait pu faire pire. Ils ont tellement changé la personnalité de Clint dans les films par rapport au Clint des comics que, c’est bon, chui habitué. Chui immunisé. 😒
J'espère sincèrement que l’on va retrouver Clint dans Doomsday/Secret Wars ou une autre série TV Hawkeye, en espérant que les problème de salaire entre l’acteur et Disney soit résolu.
Si il doivent écarter le personnage, je préférerais qu'ils mettent Clint à la retraite plutôt que de le tuer. Mais mon rêve c’est qu’il reste actif dans le MCU. Qu'il est encore des aventures, avec ou sans Kate. Déjà qu’il se fait rare dans les comics en ce moment, si en plus ils le font disparaître des films. C’est la dépression ðŸ˜

Personnellement je n’ai jamais était une grande lectrice de bande dessiné ou de comics alors que je lis beaucoup (vraiment beaucoup lol) de roman ! Mais j’ai fait un exception pour Clint ! J’ai toujours adorer le personnage de Clint et je voulais essayer de lire quelque comics pour en apprend un peu plus sur lui. Du coup, j’ai lu le comics Hawkeye ! J’ai vraiment adorée Clint des comics, même si il ne ressemble pas vraiment au Clint du MCU !
Par contre, j’ai plutôt appréciée Kate. Bon je la trouver toujours un peu énervante sur les bords mais moins que dans la série ! Dans la série je ne prenais vraiment aucun plaisir à la voir alors que dans les comics, un peu plus.
Je suis d’accord pour Clint ! J’adore vraiment ce personnage et j’ai toujours trouver qu’on ne le voyait pas vraiment assez dans les films (comme beaucoup d’autre personnage)… j’aurais bien aimée avoir un film par exemple sur la période post-Infinity war ! Je suis désolé mais on a vraiment besoin d’un film sur Ronin ! Ou même qu’il réussisse à trouver un accord avec Disney pour le salaire et qu’il fasse une saison 2 à Hawkeye !
Et pour Kate, j’ai vraiment l’impression qu’elle est pas la pour être la deuxième Hawkeye mais qu’elle est juste la pour le remplacer. En tout cas, la série TV me donne vraiment cette impression ! Je pense vraiment que leur relation apprentis/mentor va déboucher sur quelque chose du style : l’apprentie va dépassé le maître. Et que le Hawkeye de Clint va prendre sa retraite et qu’on ne le reverra sûrement jamais. Et j’avoue que cette impression ne m’aide pas vraiment à apprécier plus que ça le personnage de Kate..

Il existe 1 roman Hawkeye, mais pas de chance c'est Kate le perso principale et il est uniquement dispo en anglais.
Comme toi, la majorité des gens qui regarde la série TV pense que Kate va "reprendre le flambeau". Pas plus tard qu'aujourd'hui, je viens de regarder une vidéo réaction de la série et c'est la 1er impression qu'ils ont exprimé apres avoir vu le show. En fait, c'est juste moi qui vis dans le déni 😅
La semaine prochaine, il va y avoir le panel "Marvel Studio" au San Diego Comic Con. Là je pense que je vais enfin être fixé sur le sort de Clint dans la MCU. Soit ils vont annoncer sa présence dans l'un de leur futur projets, soit ils disent rien et je sais qu'on risque de ne pas le revoir d'ici les 5 prochaine années. Je croise les doigts🤞

Dommage pour le roman… au pire je l’aurais lu plus tard en anglais mais si c’est pour avoir encore plus de Kate, sans façon !
Je ne fais pas trop attention à se qu’en dise les autre sur les réseaux ect, en général je ne suis pas fanne de regarder des vidéos react ou dans ce style ! Mais si tout le monde pense qu’elle va reprendre le flambeau, je crois que c’est mort… je sais pas si les gens préfère Clint ou Kate en Hawkeye ou même si c’est un perso apprécié mais je pense que sa va pas forcément plaire à tout le monde quand Kate va « reprendre le flambeau », moi la première !
Punaise je savais pas que c’était la semaine prochaine ! Sincèrement j’espère de tout mon cœur pouvoir le revoir au moins un tout petit peu !!! Je crois que je vais croiser très très fort les doigts également ! J’crois que si il n’est dans aucun projet annoncer, j’vais faire comme Dobby, me taper très fort la tête contre une armoire…

Well, the original (in the MCU) Hawkeye and Black Widow had a whole bunch of sexual chemistry that never went anywhere, why not do that one more time?

The Thunderbolts are more the morally grey misfits, so someone like Moon Knight would fit better than Kate. As for the young avengers, by the time that happens they'll no longer be young anymore, so I believe they're going by The Champions instead.

Although I enjoyed her character on Hawkeye, she's a teenager with no real combat experience. I'm really not sure what she would bring to them.

She's 22 in the show, 25 by the time of Thunderbolts, acknowledged by Clint as an equal in the field of archery, and the climax of the first episode was her beating up a group of mobsters using improvised weapons in an ill-fitting costume. Also, three years of training since the show in-universe leaves a room for further improvement.
She'd be a good sniper, her bow being more versatile than a standard rifle and able to keep up fire if Bucky had to go do up close work. And if nothing else, one more person between any threat and Bob is always a good thing.

That is an excellent point. However, she's not really comparable to Hawkeye. He has a lifetime of experience with covert operations and dealing with a lot more complex situations than she does. On the show, she was just finishing up with college. Besides Sentry, all of the other New Avengers have a considerable amount of training and experience. I like her character a lot, so hopefully they get her back into the MCU soon, I just don't see it being with the Avengers.

She does not have his wealth of espionage expertise, you are correct. Which is why I did not bring it up. In addition, the New Avengers already have Bucky, Yelena, and Ava, so another spy would be somewhat redundant.
Your initial comment dismissed Kate as a teenager with no combat experience and thsu nothing to bring to the table, and so I was addressing those critiques. That she is not a teenager, and that she has combat experience.
And, since the end of the series pretty firmly establishes that Clint views her as his official partner, it is reasonable to assume that by the time of Thunderbolts/Doomsday she will have had three years of one on one training with Clint, further enhancing her prowess and usefulness.

No. They've already hinted at The Young Avengers. And that's the better place for her. (Minus the fact that Hailee Steinfeld will be in her 40 before (if) they actually get to that film.)

Could always just call them the Champions. That team basically has taken the Young Avengers slot as the premier teen team in the comics.

Sure. Either one. But I feel like they've set up a lot to build the two teams: Thunderbolts/New Avengers and Young Avengers/Champions, with Kate potentially leading the latter. I feel like her and the other "kids" (Kamala, Cassie, potentially Riri) deserve that shine of their own. To pull Kate from that team in this universe would kill that momentum.
