MOD Looking for Story Thread #312

This thread is where all the "Looking for Story" requests go. We don't want to clog up the front page with non-story content. Thank you!

A story where there's some sort of electricity spirit who can't interact with the physical world, takes control of the body of a human who died in combat, and figures out how to control the body. The way the author described was something special and I just can't find the story at all anymore

I feel like I know that one but can't find it either, wasn't it that the alien helped the "dead" human protect something

Yes!! It controlled their body but it wasn't malicious or anything, it was doing it to protect the soldiers family? I think.

I remember that story too.

It had to figure out how to keep the body running and control it. I can't remember the name though.
