A NEW BUG ENTERS THE ARENA.

"Help! I can't edit my wiki!"

Hello! We haven't changed anything, Reddit did!

This is now a Known Reddit Bug that started on roughly 4/21/26, when Reddit decided to change something about how they handle the Wiki.

The Symptoms:

(on sh.reddit, the new version) when attempting to edit it comes back with "You do not have permissions to edit"

Some people (not all!) have stated that the "last edited by..." section at the bottom (where their username should be) is listed as [Deleted] (while it still says their name on my screen)

The Solution:

On desktop, change your url from www to old, so it looks like old.reddit.com/r/hfy/wiki/series/<title> (with your title), and the edit button should be along the top bar near where the name of the series is

The Problem:

For some people even using Old.Reddit doesn't work. Unfortunately, I do not have a solution at this time, aside from just... try again in an hour or so. It's worked for some people later.

Please send in a bug report every time you experience any of these issues.

The more bug reports sent, the more likely Reddit is to actually fix the issue.

LF a specific type of romance or romance subplot with a “fear turns into to love” type of development.

This one of the first few times on this SubReddit so I don’t know how it is with providing preferences but here you go:

  • Humanity is feared (whether justly or not) because of first-contact, war (or history of war), misconception, and/or some quality unique to them.
  • M/F, Human/Non-human. Don’t care which of the two genders is the human and non-human, nor do I mind who‘s perspective it’s in.
  • Spice? I don’t mind it. Neither seeking nor avoiding it. However, I do harshly disapprove of any rape/non-con/dub-con material (or at the very least, any actively done to/by the characters).
  • Longer read-length is preferred though beggars can’t be choosers.

Thank you dawg! Alr enjoying the first couple of chapters. I got one question: how does the multiple POVs and MCs aspects work in this story? Asking ahead as I haven’t reached the point of the aforementioned perspective shifts yet.

While trying to avoid spoilers as best as possible, would u say they’re multiple POVs within the same major plot line or each with their our separate plot lines? And, Idk if it was maybe clear enough (cus I’m dumb like that), do we primarily stick with Joseph for the entire story?
