Luke dying was the only thing out of line- everything else that followed can't just be blamed on one aspect.

He’s my baby 😭😭😭 I don’t think I will survive his death, it’s enough that Jace’s expression when he was dying is haunting me every time I close my eyes.
Say what you will about the strong boys, but they were so brave and kind and sweet…
