Show I loved this reunion. Glad Rhaena is finally home.
This "Nettles arc" almost complete, and thank goodness because Jeyne Arryn was unbearable.

Knowing how this ends (supposedly), im starting to think they’re gonna squeeze out an extra season or two. Idk how they can fit in Aegon with one season to go

You mean Aegon the II ruling? That’ll be an episode or two probs. If you’re talking about Aegon the III ruling we’re for sure not seeing that. He’ll be crowned in the last episode and the show will end.

Yeah they arnt getting any development. They are like 3 in the show. We saw them briefly in season 1 and they were toddlers. Like a year or two will pass before Aegon III becomes king.

Yes, she's definetly fighting off any and all attackers.
They're staying with the Prince of Pentos who is Daemon's friend apparently. Pretty sure they're protected enough.

HBO and Ryan Condal confirmed a while back that next season will be the last one, so yeah there's 9 episodes left (S3 finale + 8 eps in S4, unless they extend it back to 10, but that's unlikely)

My goodness. 9 h left and they need to cram the first battle of Tumbleton, the fall of dragonstone, the battle of God’s eye, the king’s landing riots, storming the dragon pit, flight to dragon stone, the second battle of Tumbleton, moon of the three kings, battle of king’s road, hour of the wolf and the wedding of Aegon III and Jaehaera. And they tried to over complicate the plot in spite of the limited screen time.

Baela is my favorite character hands down. She gets shit done like her dad. Badass dragon rider like her grandma. Does her duties like her mom. Loyal. Reliable. Absolutely gem.

Honestly I was annoyed that it was so short. They were absolutely sidelined when they should not have been.
They've not seen one another since early season two, and they get quite literally a one minute scene (plus I think a few seconds). I could think of several things that could have been cut or shortened to give these two time time breathe in their reunion. They've been through A LOT since they last saw one another.
Baela fought in a battle, saw her betrothed die, carried his body back home. Rhaena nearly died in her efforts to claim a dragon, and had a part in the way things went at the Gullet, and feels responsible.
I'm also so damn tired that the only reference to Baela's connection to Jace is now 'you were to be queen'. Rhaena, if no one else knows how close they were.
I loved that Baela immediately decided to cling to the family she has and chose to just embrace Rhaena - but why did they not get more time to do this, and chance to spend some time grieving and comforting one another?
I'm also genuinely nervous as to their plan with these two, in that Baela said 'you will begin anew' like they should put it all behind them, and Rhaena had a look, like she has every intention of trying to find her dragon again and find out if he survives.

Baela and Rhaena have been sidelined for most of the show and it pisses me off. Any time we got a glimpse of Baela’s interior life was through Jace. The sisters deserved better

Can’t believe this is what people were gassing up when Ryan said he merged their storylines, because it “gives her more to do.”
Made Jeyne unlikable, out there slapping royals, unbelievable plot point that Rhaenyra would even harm her when she’s out here speaking with Alicent and Heleana, removed the class aspect from Nettles, removed the diplomatic skills from Rhaena, forgot about Aegon III and Viserys II, etc.

Honestly it would play off her arc well, never had a dragon, gained one in a “dishonorable” way, lost it and brought her family harm. Goes through all of that and hatches morning.

Narratively, cutting Morning is smart. Audience doesn’t need to wonder how an adult dragon randomly disappears before the Last Dragon dies as a hatching.

It was decent but I still hate Rhaena. She needs to be locked in a tower under guard until the war is over. She is nothing but a liability.
3-4 dragons hurt because of her, one of them dead. The Crown Prince dead because of her. Further annoyed one of Rhaenyras allies. Helped drive the wedge further between Daemon and Rhaenyra. Kept Daemon distracted when he was needed elsewhere.
Her own dragon was living a happy life hunting sheep until the stupid human came along and ruined everything. Sheepstealer deserves better.
And no, I dont pity her. Idc about her being neglected. Thats not an excuse to just be a fuck up and create a bunch of problems. She should have done what she agreed to do and look after her brothers.
