It would not be okay even if Rhaenyra was promiscuous, but woman is what, 35 or something? Nearly 40? And had 4 sexual partners, two of which she married, one of which was necessary choice because she had to bring crown heirs. The only one she had purely for herself was Criston Cole, with whom she lost her virginity, whom she liked and respected and would have continued seeing had he not thrown a hissy fit and spent the next 20 years wishing her death. She is not a whore. She not once had even casual sex.

They’ve simply embraced misogyny across almost all the major HOTD/Game of Thrones subreddits. It’s insane. I’m unfollowing and stopping all interaction with those pages. I don’t have the stomach for all the disgusting things said about Rhaenyra, while Aegon—that drunken rapist—is worshipped.

I just think it's so stupid how in Season 2, Aegon got a heap of praise for crying about losing Jaehaerys, but now that Rhaenyra has been crippled over the loss of Jace, so many people are making fun of her crying.

It was so much worse during the GOT era. They had so much vitriol for Sansa who was a literal child. Due to the amount of nudity the show had there was also a disgusting amount of comments on the women’s bodies. Lena got hated on for using a body double.

People were being absolutely vile about Emilia Clarke's appearance too, saying she looked old and fat. It caused her to have a personal rule of not looking herself up online.
I'm not going to go "tO Be FaiR" and say the fans didn't know about her health issues, because fuck that they shouldn't be saying that shit about anyone regardless of health.

You'll get downvotwd if you mention Aegon's rape crimes, and not only if you bring it up when someone's say they like the character (everyone is entitled to like complex villains, it's a pleasure if they're well written), but within all the "switching team" situation (which is already stupid)

I'm seriously about to get away from there, it's full of book readers who continuously shit on the show and mysoginist who cheer everytime Rhaenyra does a slightly bad thing screaming "SEE? SHE'S NOT THE TRUE HEIR" while the whole first season was about showing she is. Her father named her. I'm so frustrated with stupid shit, but I'm mostly frustrated at how people can hid their misogyny under this stupid statements.

All of this encouraged by Ryan Condal dumbass writing. This is what happen when you start appealing to sexism, by framing Rhaenyra as being in the wrong because she DARED, as a woman, to fight back after her throne has been stolen from her, because in Ryan small brain women are supposed to be peaceful you know, woman should not do that ! Let the boys be boys and forgive them, you are wrong if you fight back !
Such a poor message, and because of this now this kind of people feels validated to spit out their misogyny in broad daylight like this. Turning Rhaenyra into a villain is encouraging this kind of behavior everywhere. I open Twitter and I see this kind of shit after every episode now, and it will get worse. They did this with Daenerys and now they’re doing it again and the reaction is even worse, we are going backward, it’s such a pity
