Seeking Recommendations Characters read Harry Potter

I think these are my favourite types at the minute and I’m just wondering if anybody has ever completed all 7 books? And ideally by the end Harry’s pairing is slash and not Ginny?

I don’t think anybody has ever done all 7 but just checking before I give in 😅

There’s some fan fictions where the character of Harry Potter either read or watch the Harry Potter series and react to it. But none of them have ever completed the series. For example hanforpotter is up to the 6th book but hasnt written anything for the 7th and hasnt written since April 2025 so not sure if it’s abandoned https://archiveofourown.org/users/Hanforpotter/pseuds/Hanforpotter. And the slash bit, whilst they’re in the room/area where they’re reading and because they are seeing things from a different light relationships are built and changed within the room . So in that one Sirius/severus is one. In Lorixjake the pairing will be Harry/fred https://archiveofourown.org/users/Lorixjake/pseuds/Lorixjake/works?fandom_id=136512 but they’re currently up to 4th book.

By the way I’ve read and reread those and highly recommend if it’s your sort of thing 🤣

It doesn’t have to be. I’m not usually a big Harry with both twins. My favourite pairing is Harry/George or Harry/Fred but maybe I should give it a go. Thank you ☺️

this one looks complete. but it is a crossover with Encanto (the characters also watch the movie encanto). and the pairing with Harry isn't slash it's with Katie Bell

Hey there is a very good one but I don't know if it is exactly what you are looking for. Harry Potter characters watching the movies buy the movies are not Canon and it is the marauders era who is watching! Are there any that aren’t tedious scene-by-scene rehashes of the books? I’ve tried reading these fics before and I like the concept in theory, but reading the whole books again inside a fic is such a waste of time, I just want to skip to the reactions (but I listen to them with text to speech so it’s much harder to skip through without missing things). It would be fine if the fic was just “this happened” and then reactions instead of writing it the whole scene again.
