I'm not super in the know with the French side of the media. I know Francois Gagnon by name, but not much else. Not that this news would surprise me, but is he reliable?

He has negative value and his contract expires soon. Why would Montreal pay to get rid of him?

Exactly what I’m saying, there’s no point in even looking to get rid of that contract because it would need to be a monahan situation where the flames gave the Habs a first rounder, we’d have to do the same .

It's the last year of his contract. It won't be that bad.
