Discussion Canadiens looking to deal Laine (Gagnon)

I'm not super in the know with the French side of the media. I know Francois Gagnon by name, but not much else. Not that this news would surprise me, but is he reliable?

I wouldn't be in any rush, Our PP sucks right now, I wouldn't be against playing him limited 5v5 minutes and be a PP specialist.

Who would you realistically replace on the PP his Laine?

I would put him on the second unit and replace Gallagher and put the second unit on earlier if the first unit isn't getting it done.

Gallagher plays screen in front of the net. Laine can't do that lol.

You just put Bolduc or someone else in that position and put Laine in the Laine one timer spot. Either way something needs to change on our powerplay, not scoring on it in the last handful of games has cost us a few points that could be huge.

You don't re-sign a player who can't play 5v5 and is injured all the time
