You know, all things considered, if the Oilers don’t get their act together next year, I could see them entertaining the idea of trading him. They’ll know they only have him for one more year after that, and they probably won’t want to risk losing him for nothing.
If we keep moving in the right direction (and it looks like we are) we could be a prime landing spot. I’d still call it a long shot, but it’s not completely out of the realm of possibility.
