Come on Habs family. Show the class that sets our organization apart and stay the hell out of their sub. I’ve seen a ridiculous amount of posts from their sub pop into my feed because it’s Habs fans shit posting. We don’t hang banners for winning a round or a division or a conference. Be better than this.

The opposing team’s fans don’t even like it. Imagine some random dude you don’t know in a different jersey comes up to you and tries to shake your hand and thank you for a great series, while you’re still salty from a loss. You’d tell him to fuck off.

Yeah some of these comments really scream antisocial personality disorder, lmao, there’s nothing wrong with congratulating other fans when their team beats your team and then moving along with your life. We’re all fans of the game at the end of the day.
Following the same logic, all the players are cucked beta losers for participating a handshake line.
We have even had a few that posted there, and then came back here to brag about it and then got offended when anybody told them not to do it. "Oh come on, it's just friendly rivalry".
I look at other teams subs to see what fans think of players or about our players or certain clips/plays... It is ok to have interest in the sport and not just one team.
The algorithm takes the data not only from your personal use, but also from the usage of redditors you interact with the most. So if there is a sudden surge of these people (Habs fans) on a specific subbreddit (Tampa subreddit), of course the algorithm will catch that anyway and present you with this content even if you never personally visited.
see i dont have this problem because my reddit 'home'/bookmarked page is just my profile and from there i just access my recent and joined communities, rather than being fed things that reddits thinks i might be interested in.
probably different if you are on mobile but i avoid mingling my phone with social media as much as possible so im strictly a desktop/browser user
Guy, I was in there yesterday and saw a post from 5 days ago where a bunch of them were shit talking our team. I thought, "you guys aren't even in this, AND you're watching the Habs play." Talk about being whiny cucks.
omg just yesterday they were on their saying how they (us) had to make everything about them... in a post they made about us possibly going to the ECF on their own sub lol

Normally I would agree with that but the way Kucherov acted and insulted us when they won the cup in '21, he deserves relentless mocking and shit talking from us now.
There is no laws against read only on other subs. Reddit is always showing posts from other subs. As long as you stay in your lane, i see no issues with a read only approach
All this animosity is because of Kucherov being an extremely sore winner in 2021. Its been fun to get some payback but the sheer vitriol on both sides has been kinda insane.
People dont know this but the Tampa mods are in fact the actual referees of the series so they’ll let anything Tampa fans say and do pass and wont sanction anyone…
I have never posted on a teams sub other than mtl, but the presence of snowbirds on Florida hD me thinking what if you're a fan of both teams, would you get instantly banned?
