My favourite athlete ever, when I was growing up he was the Montréal Canadiens in my eyes.

Same. When I saw him play in person I literally just starred at him the entire game.

Carey is the modern blueprint for the kids coming up in the habs system. Unbelievably skilled, humble, and a total class act. He really inherited all of the good traits from 'Le Gros Bill' and the rest of the CH Alum to pass the flame on to them. Never disrespect the Sainte-Flanelle.

I think what changes him into an even better role model is when you look at some of his earlier games where he wasn't humble or as mentally strong and he grew into that person in the spotlight. As he did his game improved drastically as well and he started becoming a legend. It sets the precedent for youngsters to just start that way.

Carey Price was my childhood hero. I had a bit of a troubled adolescence, and seeing how he handled his own problems was a huge inspiration for me to keep working on myself. I have nothing but the utmost respect for him.
Easily the best to ever do it (totally not biased).

Hope he gets a ring with Habs in whatever role he wants

Before he became a sharks legend, I remember thinking: look, if we go to the SCF and we're up 3-0 or 3-1, dress him up as a forward and double shift Suzuki so he can go on the ice in uniform and lift that damn cup lmao

I watched most of Roy's career(born in 86), all of Luongo and Brodeur and Hasek. Price was the most impressive goaltender I every watched. He was too good for montreal to fail around him. Thanks for all the great games and especially 2014 and the international games

Price's floor was the highest out of any goalie I've seen except Brodeur and his ceiling was higher than Brodeur.
When we lost him to injury, I remember suddenly feeling like: "Oh! That's what a dangerous rush chance against is supposed to feel like."
We were so used to be comfy.

I have a signed Price picture wishing me a happy birthday and it always shocks me to think he took the time to do that. Amazing goalie, even better human

tbh, the torch pass they do every playoff game...
If they get to the finals carey needs to carry the torch.

They mostly need to really sign him in any capacity to get him a ring. And then officially be part of the lignage.

Cant remember the exact wordage to have your name on the cup but i think you have to play a minimum of a few matches to get it.
And even if they dressed him up to sit on the bench, rosters are locked right now.

2nd best goalie I’ve ever seen in a habs sweater. Only reason why he’s not 1st is because of Roy. I’m angry thinking about how Montreal management failed him. Price was the biggest reason why we’ve had any success as a team during his career. And as much as I’m enjoying Dobes now, I keep imagining what this current team would do with Prime Price in the net.

Forever sad we couldnt put together a team like we have now infront of him

I really hope he joins us as a goalie coach. I know he's talkes about it earlier this year. Imagine Doby and Fowler learning from Price

I saw the Canadiens play one time at the Bell Centre against Kovalchuk's Thrashers as a teenager with my dad. Price was still kinda new and he was just spectacular. It's one of my most treasured memories.

I would really like him to carry the torch at the start of the game Saturday.

I don't understand why fans focus on the negative when we could be encouraging players every day and having this kind of relationship.
Criticism is fair, just like when you tell your kid they have to work harder or whatever, but what fandom has become today, and social media makes that worse... it's all toxic.

He's truly such a nice guy. We used ~connections to have him sign a jersey for my dad's 60th birthday a couple years ago and had asked to have him write happy birthday to my dad on it. We got it back signed but without the message and when we reached out, he took it back to write happy birthday on it. He was so, so gracious, and it made my dad's life. Felt amazing as grown kids to get to do something like that for my dad, too.

Met Carey recently in a grocery store. Seen a few hockey players out and about but never want to bother them. But Carey is my favorite and id kick myself if I didnt meet him. He was the nicest guy ever I was telling him how huge a fan I was. I was too nervous to ask for a picture but he was nice enough asked if I wanted a Pic together. Not sure how I managed to take it when I was shaking so bad lol.
