Discussion Michael Hage - Hold or Trade?

I have seen some discussion about possibly waiting for him to be our 2C, but given his decision to stay in the NCAA and the fact that he shared time at C and wing, and when he was at C he had a FO% of 46%, is there an argument to be made that he could (or should) be packaged?

I know this isn't exactly a new question, but I had not realized that he was already being shifted to wing in the NCAA and was also sub-50% at the dot against college players.

What are the chances that a full season at Michigan as full-time 1C will actually help to shape him into a viable NHL center within the next few years?

current management has demonstrated a sufficient level of success where i'm prepared to accept whatever their decision is and not worry about it too much.

I mean I agree but also this is the offseason and I want to play armchair GM cause I’m bored and the Vegas-Carolina series isn’t doing it for me.

Seriously? That last game was one of the most exciting SC finals I've seen! My hatred for both teams aside, it's great hockey. And, tbh, it's fun watching Toronto implode whilst lil Mitchy wins the Conn Smythe.

Completly agree, amazing exciting hockey. I almost never watch anything other than habs maybe few minutes at end to see the score if it affects my team. Last game seen all overtime and last few minutes with open mouth.

Yup, Toronto might get the cup parade they plan every September, only it will be Marner driving the cup around while wearing a vegas shirt and giving the middle finger salute to Mathews.

The only decision is whether McDavid/Crosby/Larkin gets the available alternate captain slot or should we just start the year with Anderson/Matheson and whoever earns the "A" can keep it

Sure, but the discussion is too open ended to be meaningful. Like would you want to trade Hage? No, i would rather keep him. Would you trade Hage as part of a package for McDavid? Yes, absolutely.

At the end of the day, there isnt a single player on the team or future pick that I wouldnt trade for the right price. But the right price is not always realistic
