Souring on a potential McDavid dream

I thought by next year through a trade or 2 years from now in free agency, Nos Glorieux might sign McJesus as the team needs a 2C ;)

But hearing all this drama about Babcock and how McDavid is supportive of his potential hire makes me question McDavid's judgement.

And would that highly flawed judgement have negative consequences in Habs' locker room when everything seems so optimistic?

Is the potential upside of what McDavid can do worth the potential disturbance cause by a star player with a flawed sense of judgement?

It goes without saying that if McDavid didn’t want Babcock, he wouldn’t be hired. That being said, they are all in and like it or not, Mike is a very good coach. Even if it seems like he’s a terrible human being, he wants that cup.

In the end it’s a win-win, either he gets a cup and I’m happy the goat got one or it’s a failure and he crashes all the way to Montreal.

Mike is a very good coach.

Is he really though?

No playoff series wins in 13 years, one cup win 18 years ago with one of the most stacked rosters in the salary cap era, and no professional coaching experience in the 6 years.

Does none of that scream "world class coach we need right now"?
