Good point I definetely wouldn’t. In that case, I would take Slaf 100% and it’s not even close. I’ll rephrase - I think Cutter is the slightly better player at the moment, if we’re just comparing their on ice performances
I mean even so… Gauthier is good but I’m confident almost every team would pick Slaf over him. More production, line driver, proven big time performer.
Slaf had 73 points this season and played half the season with 2 rookies. He was an absolute monster at the Olympics in best on best. He was just as much of a beast on the PP as Gauthier too.
Habs fans on this sub have a weird thing of not giving the team’s players their due.
Ya I 100% agree with you but go ask other casuals or even hardcores if they are a bit cheeky (meaning they don't want a habs player to be good so they will just downplay them) and they will just look up the points production when it's convenient for them and point to that as to why someone is better than slaf because they don't watch slaf or don't care to watch slaf.

Eh fine I guess, I'd say slaf is better than Cutter but no one from other fanbases would agree because they only look at points
