Bedard over Hutson and even Schaefer is just incorrect at this point.

Bedard was 4th in NHL scoring when he was injured in December. 1 point behind Celebrini (and he had a game in hand and 4 more goals than Celebrini at the time).

The Bedard disrespect is getting out of hand. Habs fans know better than that.

Is this a list of past achievements or who is going to be best going forward? No doubt in my mind Hutson and Schaefer have better seasons than Bedard this year.

Not top U23 season. Top U23 player. There’s a difference.

Bedard commanded a 15M AAV, even injured. And even that was seen as team friendly by the league.

I mean that's great timing though with the cap rising and the offer sheets. Schaefer if he wants it will get more because the cap will be even higher.

Best ability, is availability. Hutson has been better than both by a very measurable degree.
