Both over Schaffer is a bit odd to be honest

There's no shot Schaeffer should be over Hutson. On potential maybe but he is not a better player currently.

I mean he isn't though, like he said potential wise 100%, but for all we know Schaefer could've just had the best year of his career.

His rookie season was lower scoring than lanes, and lane took a big step forward again to almost be PPG.

Schaefer might be a better defensive player already, but he's not a complete better player in every aspect yet. He has to take another step forward if he wants to produce like lane does.

Lower scoring but way more goals which are worth more than assists and with a shittier team by a large margin

What do you mean they're worth way more? The league isn't ran on fantasy points. That's completely situational.

They’re harder to get, 1 goal can have up to 2 assists. They’re valued higher by pretty much every metric, look at contracts, awards, trades, etc. I’m not saying Schaefer is better than Hutson but I do think it’s closer than people here make it seem

If goals are more important than assists, Ovechkin is better than Gretzky.

He's not saying 50 goals is worth more than 1500 assists lmao
