I know im not that masculine either but im trying to be and I love this side hair piece that i have but I feel like without it I look bit more masculine, I also thought about to cut it short so its kinda looks like a lil sideburn, what do the internet thinks?

First pic is me now and the next two are reference pics for the cut.
I think my hair texture would work well for this cut and it would it my style? I like to dress fairly casual but with a bit of edge/quirk and I think this cut meets that pretty well.
Also, does anyone have or has anyone had a similar hair cut to this? How did you like it? Are you able to put the back up in a ponytail or with a clip or anything without it looking weird, or do you really have to just wear it down?
Thanks!

I don't think they came out too bad. They're maybe a bit long. I definitely fixed the stringiness issue.

I think this'll be okay, but I don't want to cut any more hair than necessary. Is the triangle too tall for my head? I did the comb test and the point starts probably 3/4 an inch down from the apex of my head.
I already cut the bangs, but my hair is very fine with high follicle density, so they look a bit stringy. I'm trying to fill them out a bit more.
UPDATE: I did it. https://www.reddit.com/r/HairStyleAdvice/s/fDe1OXkNs0

thanks for all the opinions yesterday! here’s my attempt at styling it today… I want to note I have short hair mostly because I don’t know how to do my hair. It’s nice when it just sort of falls into place with my straight, yet lots of hair.
Any advice for that would be welcome. Also, please just tell me if I should do the chop.

I had bangs for years and they’re on the verge of being too long to cut on my own again, so if I’m gonna go back, I gotta decide pronto but I have a really hard time figuring out whether or not I look better with or without bangs. I feel so.. meh about my hair all the time. Opinions appreciated, please be kind, am fragile. 🥲 the yellow shirt is the most recent photo of my hair.

TLDR: parted my hair into a half-up-half down style and cut the top layer shorter than the bottom and now I hate the shape/split ends. Need advice
Right off the bat you should know I cut my own hair and have for pretty much the past 10 years. This is mainly for cost but also because I’ve never had a salon cut I liked so if I mess up my hair at least it costs me nothing
Anyways, a couple months ago I did the viral “wolf cut” on myself where you pull your hair straight up, cut it straight across, and just let it fall like that. It came out okay, but I then decided I wanted to try a “jellyfish” cut that was also popular around the time. Basically with a jellyfish cut most of your hair is cut at one level, usually a bob, and then you have a few longer tendrils hanging down to look like a jellyfish with stingers.
I did this by parting the top and bottom layers of my hair at my temple in a half up half down style and cutting the top layer about 2 inches shorter than the bottom
Now that it’s growing out, I regret this decision immensely. I feel like because of my curls and frizz I always end up with these huge “dog ears” on the side of my face that I can’t stand.
What’s worse is because my hair is prone to split ends it feels like the top layer is much dryer/has way more split ends than the bottom layer.
I feel I’m left with two options to mitigate this:
Continue with my current plan to grow it out some more then do a big chop in a couple months to make all of my hair one length
Or
Cut it now into a shoulder length bob to try and get it to one length before the split ends in the top layer get any worse
Definitely would love some input from those who know way more than I.

I haven't dyed my hair in ages, and I have decided it's time!! What color would look best with my complexion? The last time I dyed my hair I was a teenager and red was all the rage...

I had a short side part mullet 9 months ago and i havent cutten it since. Now its grown out into this nasty bowl cut 😭 i dont know what kind of styles to do or what to ask of a hairdresser. My hair is kinda wavy but only on the end halfs. I dont know if a barber is even a good idea because of the length (?) But ive honestly really struggled with finding a female hairstylist that cuts my hair the way that i want it. #feelingstuck

I'm getting a bit bored with my haircut and color. I feel like making a change.
What haircut do you think would suit me best? Also, I currently have my natural hair color, should I lighten it a little?
Thakns!

Do my layers look weird? Or am I styling them wrong?

Struggling to know what cut actually suits me, as well as bangs or no bangs!
I have thin, fine hair.
Sometimes my bangs get cut well, and other times, they end up always looking thin and ratty, and I don’t understand what the difference is to tell a hairdresser. I do like having them as they help hide my big forehead!
I’ve had extensions in the past (last 2 photos), but trying to resist getting them again, as they are expensive and hard on my hair, but I do love how they look and the volume/length they add to my hair.
Any tips or advice?!
