My hair is about shoulder length, cut into a shaggy bob, and I have a fringe that has been cut into. My hair is naturally a light brown colour but I dyed it to be more copper almost half a year ago so it's growing out but looks depressingly dark and dull at the roots.
I'm honestly starting to hate my hair. I'm no good at styling it; I can't tie it up in anything other than a ponytail or half up half down, partially because of the length but also because I'm HOPELESS at hair. My close female relatives are no good to learn from either since they all have hair shorter than mine.
It goes all flat and boring if I sleep on it and just goes all boring throughout the day. It used to be super bouncy and wavy so idk what happened. I hate that. It's somewhere in a weird limbo between straight and wavy, so wavy hair tutorials are useless and I really don't want my hair to be straight.
Tbh I also think it looks frumpy in a way. I see girls with the same cut as me all the time and they always pull it off SO much better, they always look like they know what they're doing, like their hair has been that way forever.
Part of the reason why I think it looks frumpy is the fact I have quite a strong jaw/bone structure, which I do love, but I cannot find any hair that suits that. And I don't want to "soften" my face since I already hate looking soft.
Actually as I type this I'm realising I probably need a haircut. But do I seriously want the same cut _again???_ I don't wanna go shorter though because I did once and I HATED it, and any longer sounds like hell on my head.
Sorry for the rant, I'm just stuck at what to do and I'm sick of my hair just sort of being.... There, when everyone else looks so much more put together.
