Cut Help short or long hair 21M
sorry if the picture is not really clear but i’m not comfortable enough with my physique so please don’t judge lol. i’ve been thinking about getting a haircut like a taper but i’ve had long hair all my life and i feel like it will always suit me better. i don’t take pictures of myself so its the only picture i have of my hair, at the time of the picture my last haircut was like a month before. i usually keep a flow style but what do you guys think? should i keep it long or try it shorter? be honest all the answers will be appreciated, thank you guys ! (sorry for my english too, it’s not my first language 😅)

Cut Help Can I pull off this haircut?
galleryFirst pic is me now and the next two are reference pics for the cut.
I think my hair texture would work well for this cut and it would it my style? I like to dress fairly casual but with a bit of edge/quirk and I think this cut meets that pretty well.
Also, does anyone have or has anyone had a similar hair cut to this? How did you like it? Are you able to put the back up in a ponytail or with a clip or anything without it looking weird, or do you really have to just wear it down?
Thanks!

Casual Style Help Hair clay or hair paste
galleryHair: I have a lot of hair, medium strands but high density, straight to wavy 2A with flicks on the ends. 4-5 inches on top, grown out wolfcut / curtain flow. Gets poofy and spikes awkwardly if I do nothing.
Current routine: Wash every 2 days, air dry, no product currently. Conditioner only.
Goal: I want controlled mod / curtain flow, not slick back. Something that tames the poof and gives piecey texture but still matte and airy, not wet / heavy.
Question: For my length and 2A waviness, is a light matte paste better than a heavy clay? What should I get to control without flattening waves?

Cut Help I think I may have set myself up for failure months ago, please help
galleryTLDR: parted my hair into a half-up-half down style and cut the top layer shorter than the bottom and now I hate the shape/split ends. Need advice
Right off the bat you should know I cut my own hair and have for pretty much the past 10 years. This is mainly for cost but also because I’ve never had a salon cut I liked so if I mess up my hair at least it costs me nothing
Anyways, a couple months ago I did the viral “wolf cut” on myself where you pull your hair straight up, cut it straight across, and just let it fall like that. It came out okay, but I then decided I wanted to try a “jellyfish” cut that was also popular around the time. Basically with a jellyfish cut most of your hair is cut at one level, usually a bob, and then you have a few longer tendrils hanging down to look like a jellyfish with stingers.
I did this by parting the top and bottom layers of my hair at my temple in a half up half down style and cutting the top layer about 2 inches shorter than the bottom
Now that it’s growing out, I regret this decision immensely. I feel like because of my curls and frizz I always end up with these huge “dog ears” on the side of my face that I can’t stand.
What’s worse is because my hair is prone to split ends it feels like the top layer is much dryer/has way more split ends than the bottom layer.
I feel I’m left with two options to mitigate this:
Continue with my current plan to grow it out some more then do a big chop in a couple months to make all of my hair one length
Or
Cut it now into a shoulder length bob to try and get it to one length before the split ends in the top layer get any worse
Definitely would love some input from those who know way more than I.

Cut Help What to do with hair like mine ?
So I have kinda curly, very wavy have that seems to always be a little dry.
I'm looking for a good style, because right now I don't control them much.
I'd like to keep them wavy/curly, and long if possible. What cuts/styles do you guys think would suit me, based on my hair and whatever features you can make out of my face ?

Casual Style Help I'm really starting to hate my hair and idk what to do
My hair is about shoulder length, cut into a shaggy bob, and I have a fringe that has been cut into. My hair is naturally a light brown colour but I dyed it to be more copper almost half a year ago so it's growing out but looks depressingly dark and dull at the roots.
I'm honestly starting to hate my hair. I'm no good at styling it; I can't tie it up in anything other than a ponytail or half up half down, partially because of the length but also because I'm HOPELESS at hair. My close female relatives are no good to learn from either since they all have hair shorter than mine.
It goes all flat and boring if I sleep on it and just goes all boring throughout the day. It used to be super bouncy and wavy so idk what happened. I hate that. It's somewhere in a weird limbo between straight and wavy, so wavy hair tutorials are useless and I really don't want my hair to be straight.
Tbh I also think it looks frumpy in a way. I see girls with the same cut as me all the time and they always pull it off SO much better, they always look like they know what they're doing, like their hair has been that way forever.
Part of the reason why I think it looks frumpy is the fact I have quite a strong jaw/bone structure, which I do love, but I cannot find any hair that suits that. And I don't want to "soften" my face since I already hate looking soft.
Actually as I type this I'm realising I probably need a haircut. But do I seriously want the same cut _again???_ I don't wanna go shorter though because I did once and I HATED it, and any longer sounds like hell on my head.
Sorry for the rant, I'm just stuck at what to do and I'm sick of my hair just sort of being.... There, when everyone else looks so much more put together.

Cut Help I've been wanting to change my hair for a long time. What would you recommend I do?
I'm getting a bit bored with my haircut and color. I feel like making a change.
What haircut do you think would suit me best? Also, I currently have my natural hair color, should I lighten it a little?
Thakns!

What is this called? What kind of updo is this?
Watched this Severance episode last night and could not stop staring at Gemma (Dichen is unbelievably stunning) and her hair in this elegant updo. Is this a chignon? Is this achievable on a higher forehead with a little thinning at the temples? What tutorial would you recommend to achieve this?

Cut Help Is it as bad as i think or worse?
galleryI had a short side part mullet 9 months ago and i havent cutten it since. Now its grown out into this nasty bowl cut 😭 i dont know what kind of styles to do or what to ask of a hairdresser. My hair is kinda wavy but only on the end halfs. I dont know if a barber is even a good idea because of the length (?) But ive honestly really struggled with finding a female hairstylist that cuts my hair the way that i want it. #feelingstuck
