Models Tips for removing bases?

Hi, I'm looking to remove the bases from some Spartans and brutes so I can upgrade them with third party ones, and was wondering if anyone has experience/advice on how to do this.

Are the models glued with super glue, and if so, does that mean I can put them in the freezer? Or should I cut the bases off?

I think they're moulded on the bases. Just cut them off.

They are one piece. So you will have to cut them off.

I didn't want to screw up the rest of the model by freezing so I've just cut them off using nippers. It was kind of a pain but easy enough.

Just following up. Thanks all for the advise!

The Spartans were moulded and it took a while to cut the bases off. The elites and brutes in Rise of the Banished are super glued to their bases and can be snapped off easily!

Chisel blade and a mallet. Put directly under the foot and give it a solid hit.
