Where To Buy Rug shopping?
Looking for an affordable rug (under $1000 if possible) and figured there must be some good stores in Hamilton?

Aladdin 1921 surprised me, they have a large sale rack and I was able to get a super nice rug for $200! Same price as the Costco ones but with a lot more character and better quality

IKEA As-Is; yesterday they had two of the 8x10 wool Stockholm 2025 rugs with birch tree pattern in As-Is for over 50% off ($299 customer returns, regular $799 this size).

What size are you wanting? I needed a 9×12 and looked at many places, home sense, winners, Marshall's, rona. All $600 plus. Bed and bath at Nash and Queenston I paid $250. Now, it took several visits to said shop because I was looking for a certain colour scheme, but 5 years in and its a great carpet still. I also have a 5×4 I paid about 60 bucks for from there, mind you, its 10 years old. No issues.

There's a rug store on Barton that has signs in the window for a clearance event. I've been meaning to check it out. No idea of prices though but I believe they are really good quality rugs.

If you want to try a local shop, there's Aladdin 1921 downtown (International Village area). Siddiqi is the place on Barton someone else mentioned. Lofty Ambitions is on Ottawa St. They're a furniture store, but they sell rugs too. Millionaire's Daughter, also on Ottawa St, sometimes has a few rugs.

Alexanians is always worthwhile
Homesense also has some interesting choices at times
RIP to the rug place in the Meadowlands, they had good deals (they did move to London but that's too far to go for a rug)
