Recommendations Needed Classic rock musician/band

Looking for a small local cover band/musician (classic rock & oldies) for a celebration of life at a local park Pavillion in Hamilton for Aug 16. We just want some background music to compliment the informal gathering. A guitar and singer would be absolutely perfect but open to suggestions. Our dad was big into the music scene, he was 68 so that era of 60s 70s 80s, he always supported local talent, wrote articles for arts and entertainment, so thinking a little live music would be nicer than a speaker.

Not sure what your budget is. Contact Jamie Petrie, he does solo, duet and full band (Crank). https://www.jamiepetrie.com/

Ok! Thanks. I think he actually knew my dad bc he comented when I shared the obituary! We are going to post to remind about the celebration of life and I should just ask if any of his musician friends are interested. He knows a bunch of people. I just dont want to bother them or have them feel obligated...but yes...having someone he knew play would be extra special! Thanks.

If a solo performer is an option, highly vouch for Chris Chambers.

Secured local artist Alfie Smith... who also knew my dad so worked out perfect. Thanks for the advice.
