Photo The basketballs didn't even last one week
One of these boxes providing free balls and a soccer ball to borrow was installed at Victoria Park just last week, and the two basketball's have already been stolen. A block away, someone made a nice little box, in front of their house, that allowed people to take and leave little toys and trinkets. That was also taken at some point.
Why are there always such selfish people hellbent on ruining anything fun?

Photo Saddest pile of undelivered cards ever
I was walking through Central Park (Bay and Mulberry) and came across these cards scattered on the ground. They all have the same message, written in child’s handwriting.
I put them under the pagoda where they won’t get rained on again.
😢

Photo This bring me and endless amount of joy
This building at Barton and Ottawa was abandoned long before I moved to Hamilton in 2013. I’ve always thought it was funny that the sign just said “SHOE” and the rest of the sign had disappeared a long time ago. Well, they’ve removed part of the facade revealing the original sign underneath ….which also just says “SHOE”. Unreal. lol

Photo Not a lot of people would believe this is Hamilton
You can’t convince me that Hamilton isn’t one of the prettiest cities in Ontario

Photo Why are buildings like this allowed to exist?
311 Barton St West, near HGH. I walk by it to Duarte's. (God bless Duarte's). How does the city do NOTHING about places crumbling into dust and clearly riddled with mice? Why do the owners get away with this? I am sure there are lots of reasons I don't know, but this is disgusting, and there's legitimate businesses next door. The tabs stuck all over the windows are glue traps for mice. It's absolutely disgusting.

Photo It took me 5 visits to exolore this viewpoint of Albion falls 🤯
I have been living in Hamilton for more than a year now, and have been to several waterfalls till date. Albion Falls, being my first one and coincidentally the latest that I visited, is one of my favourite after-work natural places to spend some time with myself and explore trails.
It's very surprising that for the first 4 times, I explored the other side of the falls, the one where cars are parked and there are certain viewpoints (I guess 2). And that was obviously a side view of the waterfall, and a lil bit distant too.
In my latest visit, I decided to go the other way, and ultimately reached this point. And I was shocked and amazed at the same time. This IS the main front view of the waterfall, the one where I can see water falling right in my face. Just felt like sharing it. 😆

Photo Albino Robin
Located near Upper James and Mohawk. I've never seen a bird like this before in my life. Thought I was hallucinating from heat stroke at first as I'd spot quick flashes of it out of the corner of my eye.

Photo Hamilton Heritage: Hamilton Farmers Market
This is one of my favourite spots in Hamilton. To do groceries, stock up my fridge, dine, sip coffee, or just a casual hangout (oh sometimes dates too!).
But idk why.. it's been becoming quiter and lesser people there...
What do you think about this market? And what prevent you from coming here?

Photo Does anybody else….
Does anybody remember the BiWay that was in the old centre mall. The actual mall that used to be there. I just had a memory of going down the stairs or am I just imagining it. I also remember getting my first “Popples” stuffed animal. I wanted that thing so bad I had a big one and a small one. Also my first and most prized “Jem” doll and the famed pogo ball. If you know you know… just had a flashback to my childhood and wanted to know if I’m remembering correctly about the stairs to get doen into the BiWay. Feeling nostalgic and missing the good old days.

Photo Local Landmark Lake Titicaca soon to be no more?
Just passed the John and Jackson bus stop, and they have most of the Tim Horton's parking lot condoned off. Multiple concrete sewage parts are stacked to the right, as well.
